The booking programs he invented are on their way to becoming as commonly used as the aircraft maintenance software, while the hotel reservation routine he designed empowered hotels to roll out a PC client based infrastructure. Following that came an automatic, networked system for ticket sales that was an industry first. He employed these successes to advance into roles which weren’t connected to software development, and we should note that he continued to make a name in these fields as well. Key titles with American Airlines and American Express were to come, and of course he established a firm of his own seventeen years ago.
