Move of the Week

Published on March 18, 2009

Every week Man and Vans removals asks all its drivers for an amusing or interesting story from their week on the road doing removals. This week’s winner was Gary who came back on Tuesday from a huge day doing a move to Brighton. His story goes a little something like this: Gary was on his way down to Brighton to start a long full day move with his co-driver Palo and on the side of the road they could see something moving. They pulled over only to find a small puppy wrapped in a blanket near a tree. Not knowing what to do, Gary and Palo discussed their options and eventually decided to take the puppy with them on their job. The customers were more than happy to have the little pup there at their house watching all the goings on of the move. The customers had a little girl who was delighted to spend her Saturday morning playing with a puppy instead of helping her mother and father with the move. At the end of the move, Gary and Palo took the puppy back with them to an animal shelter so he could be cared for properly. They were both sad to see him go.
